I'm training my eye to see what I do not expect.

I've been playing with colours in photos. I've generally worked hard to hit colours and depth with accuracy in my photos in order to adhere to some vague concept of "truth" I hold, but I recently found myself no longer interested in that sticking point.

What is truth in a world we can only ever observe subjectively? What is its value?

I don't mean lies vs truth; I mean truth as in "things being what they are", as though there is a foundation we can locate to establish what's real and what really happened. Who decides that and from which perspective?

My sense of Truth was only ever as a security blanket in a world that feels painful to me, but does that serve me? Does that serve me as one who serves others?

I'm training my eye to see what I do not expect.
