Things That Aren't the Worst About Mornings

Things That Aren't the Worst About Mornings

Today started out like cement grinding into my shoulder. I decided to beat it back with some positive thinking. In November, it's sink or swim, so here are five things that aren't the worst about mornings, even the ones with rough re-entries:

hot coffee in quiet places;

crazy, crooked morning face;

first light before it gathers strength to become day;

linty, icky kitty faces snuggled up for heat;

the brief time while the world is still quiet and stretching when you can hear the air moving in and out.

I'm taking part in NaBloPoMo, National Blog Posting Month, during which I am publishing a blog post every single day during the month of November.
