44/365: Rubber Dolly
You weren't afraid to dig your fingers in fist deep
to play me to the edges.
A friend choked on the site of our fingers touching
when he saw what we were up to.
He called you a rubber dolly, everyone's toy.
I knew better.
I was yours.
I am writing one poem every day in 2016, and I am using the hashtag #365poems to document my progress.
