I Am Speaking at BlogHer '14!
Yesterday, I filled out the BlogHer Speaker Services Agreement and made it official: I am speaking at BlogHer '14!
You can see on my press page that I've spoken at previous BlogHers , but I am no less excited than I was the first time around. For starters, I have been chosen as one of the discussion leaders of The Future of Personal Blogging Mini-Con on day two, which is a 3-hour community-driven discussion about said topic. I get to geek out about blogging with some of the best personal bloggers for three hours? It's stuff like this that makes me think, if not all at once but at least in little pockets of time, I get to experience the life I was born to live. You have no idea how excited I am about this.
I tried to take a selfie with my arms outstretched, but I couldn't figure out how to work the camera timer, so I played around with an old selfie, and now I look like I'm my own conjoined twin in the photo below. Instead of me looking three-eyed and hyper symmetrical, imagine that I am looking like my regular self and stretching my arms really wide to express "THIS MUCH" about how excited I am about being a mini-con discussion leader at BlogHer '14.
Don't worry. I'll calm down by the time late July rolls around.
Are you going to BlogHer '14? Please say yes.
