Gratitude List 1106: Fireworks, Dandelions, Poetry, Pizza, and Ibuprofen
Fireworks from a distance on a rainy night.
Dandelions a shop owner let grow wild three feet up the front wall. I love how leggy dandelions can get, how two inches of dirt are enough for them, how these ones leaned against the cool whitewashed cement under the hot sun.
The pages of poetry that came out of me. I’ve been editing them, and while most will be shelved under Possible Compost, some of them have surprised me.
Wood-fired thin crust pizzas with honey and walnuts on them.
Ibuprofen for allowing my hands type this list.
