Doodling In Color for Sanity's Sake

This is what kept me sane today. I drew lines and connected dots and coloured in diamonds, and then I took pictures of it.

I may be Canadian, but this American mid-term election business wrung me out last night. All my friends in the States are the strongest people I know right now. I’m convinced. Socially I’m surrounded by powerful super-people. The call and walk and email and text to get out the vote. They march in the streets. They love with a fierce passion that inspires others rise to meet it.

In this situation, I’m physically far away from all of it, so I send out comments and texts to thank them, pray for their wellness, and doodle my anxiety out while I eat mashed potatoes like its my job and I’m working overtime.

We live in interesting times, don’t we?

I’m taking part in National Blog Posting Month, which means I’m posting on this blog every day throughout November. You can follow along and see who else is posting this month by following these hashtags on Twitter: #NetPositiveBlog and #NaBloPoMo.
