Daily Doodle No. 1

I am having the darnedest time applying myself to a regular meditation practice, so I thought I'd combine it with doodling and dedicate myself to a series. This is something that has always worked well for me in the past. Cases in point include: my year of 50-word bios, the ongoing Grace in Small Things gratitude journalling, the entire first year of daily photos on the Phoneography blog, that one year during which I blogged every day (I've lost track of the exact year), and last year's #365poems poem-a-day project.

I'm actually curious about doodling, because it used to be that every telephone had a pad of paper by it that was covered in the doodles of whomever had been using the phone. I loved peeping at what different people drew, whether they wrote down words and numbers, and if they had a tendency to repeat the same shapes or not. It occurs to me that I haven't seen that in ages. The prevalence of home landlines and telephone tables are a dying infrastructure.

Do you doodle? Where and with what tools?

UPDATE: I completely forget to tell you what tools I used to make my doodle. I drew it using FiftyThree's Paper app on an iPad mini and a Bamboo Solo stylus.
