#548: THE INNER SHETLAND PONY
Courtesy of Grace D and Ozma, there is a shetland pony theme rising out of the tubes that comprise this here internet, and I feel compelled to riff on it poetry-style. And possibly take it all too far.
The Inner Shetland Pony
I am a shetland pony.
I walk with my head held high.
Although I'm small, I'm mighty,
and that's no word of a lie.
Do not let my size fool you.
I'm a match for any woe.
I'm your inner meanstreet mama,
and I'll defeat any foe.
We've all the inner shetland;
she stands stalwart in our breast.
There's no need for worry when
her strength sustains the oppressed.
So when you're feeling weakened
and you might not make it through,
just call your inner shetland.
She'll grant all the strength you're due.
Yell, I'M A SHETLAND PONY,
DAMN, and hold your head up high.
A SHETLAND PONY, shout loud,
AND I WILL NOT BE DENIED.
WE ARE ALL SHETLAND PONIES!
Bellow, WE ARE HERE TO FIGHT!
THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN'T DO
WITH THIS CRAZY INNER MIGHT!
