210/365: Enemies of Heart

We ate and cleared the table,
the dishes chinking soft together
in warm water to our wrists.
We rested into these surfaces,
pretended sighs.
There is belief inside the fullness of hope,
but there is no comfort inside empty movement.
A fine line exists
between strangers drawing warmth
and enemies of heart.
