Reverb 10, Day 22: Travel

Over the month of December, I am taking part in Reverb 10, and the daily prompt for today from Tara Hunt is this:
How did you travel in 2010? How and/or where would you like to travel next year?
This year, as in every other year, I travelled mostly by foot.

I am not keen on cars. Cars are expensive. Gas is expensive. Their component parts are expensive. They tend to injure and kill people violently. They pollute the planet.

On the other hand, I am quite keen on my feet.

I walk to work, I walk to restaurants, I walk to the grocery store. I will take cabs when it is the middle of the night in my sketchy neighbourhood or when I have sacks of food to carry, but only because I'm not fond of muggings and I'm lazy.

I did take airplanes to BlogHer '10 in New York and BlissDom Canada in Toronto, because I am not ridiculous enough to attempt crossing the continent by foot. I'm too lazy to be crazy.

In 2011, I plan on further daily foot travel, plus the occasional airplane excursions to see more of the weblog folk. More of same travel-wise sounds perfectly fine to me.

PS.  I have a squashy-looking cat.
