Ten Things I Want To Accomplish Over The Course Of This Year

Over the course of this year, I want...

...the 2010 Canadian Weblog Awards, my latest and most favourite baby, to be a raging success.

...to figure out how to get this cat, Onion, to stop peeing on my stuff, especially the bed.

Onion, what jerk peed on the bed Onion, what jerk peed on the bed
...to write a song and learn to play it on my neglected ukulele

...to shoot a video of myself playing and singing that song on my ukulele and post it here for your edification.

...to lose that last five or ten pounds that make it feel like my chin and neck are jockeying for supremacy.

...to find the fire to go back to the novel I wrote in November during NaBloPoMo and work it into something, if I find that it has any legs.

...to focus more on what I can give, rather than what I can get.

...to clear out my closet and drawers of all the old clothing and underwear I have been hanging onto for as long as a decade or more that only serves to make me feel and look older, more outdated, and less fabulous than I really am.

...to concentrate more seriously on my photography.

...to brave my way into a dentist's chair, which is the most terrifying thing I can think of doing. (I once even considered having all of my teeth pulled and having permanent dentures affixed just to avoid the bulk of future dentistry issues.)

...to learn to value my own creative output.

...to eat a diet of food that is both nutritionally and sensually more satisfying.

What do you want?
